Raymond (Ray) Chukwujekwe
Until recently, Head Compensation and Benefits, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Ray has over 28 years relevant management experience in a multinational work environment. His work experience spans, Training, Production/Process Management, Project Management, General Management and HR Management (Rewards).
He was at various times Head of Central Laboratory, Learning Consultant, Project Team Leader, Head Brewer and Production Manager.
Ray’s area of specialization includes Reward Systems, Remuneration Surveys, HR Information Systems and Job Evaluation.
As Head Compensation and Benefits, Ray was responsible for Reward management for a workforce of close to 4,000 direct employees, deploying best-in-class remuneration packages leading to less than 1% regrettable loss year on year.
He oversaw an extensive upgrade of HR Information Systems, simplifying HR Transactional processes. He was responsible for company-wide job evaluation and the deployment of Job Family Model in Nigerian Breweries Plc.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Benin, Benin-City (1987).
An alumnus of Ashridge Business School, UK, Ray has attended various local and international training on Leadership, Change Management, General Management, Total Productive Management, Job Evaluation and Reward Management. Ray was member of the Global Reward Team of Heineken International The Netherlands. He participated actively in global strategic HR & Reward meetings in Amsterdam, Paris, London in the course of his career
